Chicken Fajitas

We always change it up in our house, I like to explore new foods all the time, when we crave Mexican food, we normally go out to eat it, but I decided to cook it at home.


1/2 pound chicken breast
1 whole green bell pepper
1 whole red bell pepper
2 limes
1 whole yellow onion
2 tablespoons cumin
1 tablespoons chili powder
4 cloves garlic
4 tablespoons olive oil
1 package of flour tortillas
Hot sauce
Sour cream
Tortilla chips

Prep, prep, prep.

Dice the garlic and place in mortar along with the chili, cumin. Mortar very well and then toss in the olive oil and lemon and mix it very well. Run this marinate into the chicken very well, and let it marinade for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator.

Slice the chicken into thin long strips and place them into a bowl. Cut the beggies long and thin, and place them in a separate bowl.

After the hour, get a large frying pan or wok and cook the chicken first till for about 3-5 minutes, chicken breast cooks fast. Set aside in a new bowl then put in your veggies and cook it for 2 minutes, then toss in the chicken. Cook for another 2 minutes and cover it. If you cook it longer the veggies get soggy.

Quickly remove it from the pan and into a platter, serve immediately. And don’t forget to heat up your tortillas in the oven.
